Vertex Form of Quadratic Functions - Notes AND Activity!
Tired of boring worksheets?! Get your students engaged in their learning with this fun activity! First, students will learn (or review) how to gain important information from a quadratic function written in vertex form. Then they will practice using a fun card sort activity! There are ten quadratic functions in vertex form. Students will match the function with the direction that it opens, maximum or minimum, vertex, axis of symmetry, and standard form. I have used the card sort as a station activity, independent activity, team challenge, and review before a test!
