Product Description

Help children celebrate Veterans Day through reading. Teach them to honor veterans through writing.

This activity includes a differentiated reading explaining the meaning of Veterans Day. It's more than just a "thank you note campaign!" Here is a way to teach kids WHO the veterans are and help them build awareness about the men and women who keep our country free!

**Note: The reading activities are best for grades 1-2, however the writing activities can fit with any grade and the 4th reading page is a good background for Veterans Day for grades 3-4.
