Perfect Grab and Go Lesson!
We can all agree that providing students visual content enhances instruction…Especially this generation of students. One of the easiest ways to do this is show your students a video. The only problem is there is just so much video content out there that it is nearly impossible for a teacher to watch everything and choose the perfect one for their instruction.
Here at Social Studies Studio we got you covered! Our video lesson series provides you with links to engaging videos that your students are guaranteed to love! You are also provided with an engaging lesson that is based off the videos students view.
At the end of this lesson, students are expected to answer the following questions:
1. What was the Silk Road?
2. What goods were sold on the Silk Road?
3. Why do you believe the Silk Road was so important?
4. Explain why you believe it is good that we do trade and buy good from
This lesson will provide students with a classroom activity, lesson extension, and project ideas. The main lesson will require students to break up into learning groups and answer various open-ended questions. Once they have completed these questions they will engage in a group discussion.
This lesson can also be used a substitute or review activity. All lessons have been tested in classrooms and teachers have had success!
