Video Notetaking Analysis and Reflection - Microsoft Forms and Printable

Are you having trouble getting students to pay attention while showing an educational video or movie in your class? Then check out “Critically CLIPPED: Critical Lenses to Illuminate Perspective & Promote Essential Discourse.” This resource includes 10 unique Microsoft Forms along with 10 printable versions of these forms to help your students analyze video and look at it from a variety of different perspectives. We know video is a vital component to engage students in today’s classrooms; however, Gen Z students are constantly inundated with video. Getting your students to critically view a video instead of casually watch it, though, is not an easy task. This resource helps students critically analyze media with an evaluative lens which yields greater understanding. 

The traditional printable pdf includes 10 different analysis options depending on the type of video to analyze. The digital version is created using Microsoft Forms. These are the same 10 forms; however, because they are digital, they can be edited to add or remove questions based on your specific needs. You must have a Microsoft Account in order to make a copy of these forms. Each form is linked in the PDF.
