This download accompanies an 11 minute short video produced by Oxfam in Latin America that showcases people at work, their struggles, aspirations and daily challenges. Students view the video and answer questions, give opinions, share perspectives with a partner and finally conduct a short interview with a parent about their own aspirations and work. Video is easily viewed two times in a class period, has subtitles in Spanish, and is best suited for a level IV, V AP or Heritage learner class. Students can watch the video as a large group, in a computer lab or on their cellular device. Download contains link to video and questions, bc answers will vary, no key is included. Great short lesson that links to AP themes of family/community and global challenges.
