Have you ever assigned a project, only to find at the end it seems half the kids need a little more time and the other half are done and ready to move on? Me too! At the close of a lengthy Vietnam War research project I showed the film Rescue Dawn with questions for those who were finished with the project. The film is based on the true story of a pilot shot down over Laos and held by the Viet Cong. I use this film with 9th and 10th grade students and it goes over very well. In this bundle you are getting a ready to print questions sheet for students, as well as a teacher guide with potential answers to the questions AND rough minute marks where each answer appears in the film. A great resource for sub plans or any time you are looking for a quality historical film to show. I always recommend teachers view anything they plan to show students, but this resource is great even if you've never seen the film.
