Product Description
This product is a viewing guide for the Sound episode of a PBS production called How We Got to Now. This great 55 min video explores the background science, inventors and many inventions that shaped existing sound technologies such as music recording, electric guitars, the radio, sonar and several other applications. It is a very engaging and relatable program and my 7th-grade students loved it! Most of the content was easy to understand after we have completed our unit on sound waves, however, there are some higher level segments that can apply to secondary students.

The product consists of 14 T/F and multiple choice questions to answer while viewing the video. There are also 5 discussion questions for after the video is over. I have students choose two of the 5 and answer on the back of the worksheet. This is a great homework activity or can be done in small groups in the classroom. An answer key is also included.
