Your students will love “driving” through the regions of Virginia in this engaging SMARTboard game to review the Virginia Studies native people standards, SOL VS.2 d-g. Students will work in teams and answer 25 questions to race to the finish line. A set of the questions are also available in task card format. The questions cover the following topics:
-3 American Indian language groups (Algonquian, Siouan, and Iroquoian)
-Climate in Virginia
-Foods eaten by American Indian groups
-Clothing worn by American Indian groups
-Shelter by American Indian groups
-Archaeologists and evidence found at Werowocomoco and Jamestown
-Current state-recognized tribes
You will need SMART Notebook software to open the SMARTboard game. Task cards are in PDF format.
