****UPDATED FOR 2016!****
Note: This is the crossover year for the new SOLs. Teachers are expected to teach both the old and new SOLs! The Spring SOL test will include information from both versions of the SOLS, however, the new material will be only in the form of field test questions. I'm updating all of my materials to ADD the new information this year, and NEXT summer (2017), I will delete the parts of the SOLs that have been deleted from the new version.
This is a 26 page instructional SMARTboard Lesson about Virginia in the American Revolutionary War. It covers all of the VA SOLs for this subject for grade four. It has TONS of interactive elements and video clips! Your kids will have a BLAST studying about Virginia in the Revolutionary War! This lesson usually takes me about 2 weeks to complete.
Topics included in this SMARTboard lesson are:
-13 British Colonies
-Reasons/conflict leading the Revolutionary War (includes French & Indian War, Taxation without Representation, Differing opinions of Colonists & British Parliament)
