“VirginiaAsk3” Bell Ringers
This project/love/idea is my THIRTWEENTH in my Bell-Ringer series which began a long, long, LONG time ago when I got my early education in Beaumont, Texas. My early brain began reading Texas history, then Louisiana history, then as I did family research, I started Arkansas then Oklahoma then New Mexico then Mississippi then Illinois and Missouri then South Carolina then New Mexico then California and Pennsylvania and on and on it went… The more I researched. the more ideas my relatives led me to, which led me to TPT. I just wanted to give back even though my early teachers are probably all gone by now. I had used my Louisiana LaGumbo Bell-Ringer slips for a long time before deciding to make some for my birthplace of Texas then….
That led to more Louisiana Bell-Ringers which led to Latoufféeask3 then there is my wife’s side of the family which led to…. (she is a Louisiana French Cajun Catholic, so that takes her family and me back to) Nova Scotia in 1755….
Print off enough for your class/classes then cut them into thirds. These are easy to grade. I gave an extra credit point if my students got 2 of 3 answers RIGHT, otherwise I tossed them. You will need to know your history beforehand because one Ask3 could have a multitude of answers.
These are easy to grade because I figure if you get three right you get a single extra credit point. One point per day does not seem like much but as they add up it can become a lot over a 6 to 9-week period. The questions are simple to answer. Miss one answer and you don’t get the point. There is even a sheet so that you can write you own questions.
