This Google Drive resource is a digital interactive notebook that students can use to show their knowledge of Virginia's natural resources (aligned with Virginia Science SOL 4.9). Students will review natural and human-made resources, water resources, watersheds, mineral resources, forests, soil and land use, and plants and animals found in Virginia.
Use this digital interactive notebook just as you would a traditional paper-and-pencil interactive notebook or save it for an engaging review activity. This is a great way for students to become more confident with manipulating items on the screen before they take the end-of-year SOL test! No prep for you; no lost papers for them!
**You’ll need an internet connection, a laptop or tablet, and a Google or Microsoft OneDrive account. Note: if you’re using a tablet, you may need to open Google Slides in the app, rather than the browser.**
When you purchase this product, you will be given access to a link that will allow you to open the file in Google Slides. You’ll then share that file with your students. Students will be asked to “drag and drop” movable objects as well as type answers to various questions. Nine slides are included (plus a cover page and a clickable, editable table of contents), which can also be modified and printed for students who prefer to complete the pages by hand.
This resource includes a step-by-step tutorial explaining how to share the resource with your students (both for Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive). A teacher answer key with sample answers is also included.
