Take a virtual field trip to the San Diego zoo. Students will:
Slide 1: Welcome and directions
Slide 2: Link to the zoo
Slide 3: Photo of entrance with a button to visit it via google earth
Slide 4: Welcome to the San Diego Zoo! What do you think you will discover in the zoo?
Slide 5: Animal Facts Page (Duplicate Slide for more animals to research)
Slide 6: Animal Live Cam (Choose an animal to watch on the live cam. Move your star on top of the animal you choose. Describe what they were doing.)
Slide 7: Read one of the stories on the site and explain what you learned prompt
Slide 8: Writing Prompt - If you could keep any of the animals as a pet, which one would you choose and why.
