PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Students just determined Earth’s gravitational acceleration by dropping a golf ball, ping pong ball, and a bouncy ball. Now…let’s get more accurate results and drop an Apple computer! (My apologies to Mac users…I didn’t make the website!) I think it is very important to show our students how to analyze digital information. The world we live in is becoming more and more reliant on digital information every day. If our students show themselves to be able to analyze digital information, they will be a step above their peers and the end result is more technologically analytical thinkers. Also, with the advent of distance education, students can many times complete science courses online and get lab knowledge through the use of virtual learning. It is important that our students be familiar with this type of lab experience. My students really enjoy the virtual labs and I think it’s because they are a “digital generation”.
