This activity utilizes The McGraw-Hill Glencoe virtual lab. This simulation allows students the freedom to choose between three plants and 5 colors in which to grow those plants. The students then can measure their plants. The virtual lab that I have written from this simulation has students conducting three trials, each of which they write a hypothesis, run the simulation, gather data in a data table, and graph that data. At the end they must summarize their overall data.
This was originally designed to be used in a 1:1 netbook setting
