Product Description
I have used this lab for college students in an introductory algebra/trigonometry based electricity/magnetism physics course, but absolutely believe it could be used for high school students as well. This lab is for students who have learned about capacitors, inductors, and resistors in direct current circuits who are now moving that knowledge into alternating current (AC) circuits. The lab slowly walks them through each device in an AC circuit, then slowly builds them together in a series circuit. This lab does take some time to complete, but students always say that once they have completed the lab they have a much better understanding about how each device works and then how they work together in an alternating current circuit.
