This data collection sheet has been created to help students compare the solar eclipse from different locations. This activity is meant to be used with JPL's interactive solar eclipse site, NASA's Eyes. You can use this data collection sheet as a class activity or in an interactive notebook. Students visit the site either individually, in groups or as a whole class. Once at the site, students can type in a location and virtually view the solar eclipse from that location. As they observe the solar eclipse, students choose 6 intervals to record the time and shade in the sun. The worksheet has been created so students choose 2 locations to compare. However, more copies would allow the students to record more locations. There is a conclusion section at the bottom of the second page to help students compare.
