**TPT BEST SELLER!!**
Vision Boards are a GREAT way to focus on goal-setting! Perfect for helping students set new academic and personal goals!

VISION BOARDS are a great way to introduce goal-setting and tracking in a fun way that is specific and personal to each individual student. Create these at the beginning of the school year or in January after the new year!!

My students' vision boards include
--ONE personal goal
(become less shy, make the basketball team)
--ONE academic goal
(make all A's/B's, participate more in class discussions).

Before Vision Boards: Spend one day having students reflect on their past 6 or 9 weeks grades or even on their semester exam grades.

Vision Boards Day One: Teacher introduces the topic, the project guidelines, the rubric, and shows examples. Students have time to write down their two goals and 2-3 steps on how they plan to achieve that goal on notebook. The teacher can check this to make sure students are on the right track!

VB Day Two and Three: Students look through magazines, newspapers, ads, or online for pictures, words, phrases, and glue them to their vision boards.

VB Day Four: Included inside is instructions for a fun "Gallery Walk" in which all students view each other's boards and rate their favorites. I also use this day to have students come up and share one or both goals. They usually are so proud of their boards and eager to share! This always takes the entire class period for me.

Included in this product you will find:

- Step by Step Instructions for the Teacher as well as important tips I've discovered throughout the years doing this project.

- A rubric to help you grade the project

- Actual student examples (7th/8th grade level) that you can show to your classes to help them get creative ideas and for you to see what a finished product looks like!

Every year I do a feedback survey on the projects/lessons we do in the classroom. VISION BOARDS ARE ALWAYS ONE OF THE HIGHEST RANKED PROJECTS!!! Students LOVE doing these!!
