This 2-page handout includes a reading featuring two separate dialogues with two different patients that go to visit a doctor. One patient has the flu and the other an injured knee.
New vocabulary is featured at the top including the verb 'doler'. Both dialogues feature a lot of formal command forms as the doctor gives each patient advice.
The second page includes 8 reading comprehension questions and 8 short answer questions where students need to find the Spanish command forms from the script and match them up with the English commands given.
Activity idea: once the students have finished the dialogue they can take turns role-playing going to the doctor and explaining in Spanish what is wrong with them. The other student practices giving advice in the command form.
