This is a really helpful handout that I use with my junior level art kids, in both grades 9 and 10 art.
A lot of students will say, "I don't want to colour it - it will ruin it!" so I find this a really important and helpful worksheet to get them used to the art of colouring with pencil crayons.
It shows them different tips and tricks about layering, blurring, and creating 3D depth through pressure and pencil colour choices.
There's 4 images - and each one asks them to try a new technique.
Stickers have become really popular again - so the images are based off real sticker designs :)
Also included are 4 bigger images that you can use for demo purposes - to colour and keep up on the board to show them exemplars.
Every time, after I ask them who learned something new, they all raise their hands, which is a great sign.
Hope this helps your students!
