These charts help me organize which art lessons I have taught and which ones I still need to focus on.
I took the Visual Art Georgia Performance Standards and whittled them down to the most important concepts to teach. Across the top of the chart are all of those paraphrased standards. Along the right side of the chart is all of the different mediums I also need to teach. There is a different chart for Pre-K, K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. When I do a lesson I write down what the lesson was called in the box where the standard and medium intersect. For example, I might write down "sunset painting" where the standard for warm and cool colors and the tempera painting box meet.
Pre-K doesn't have Georgia Perfomance Standards so I looked at their Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS.)
Keep in mind, all of these standards are specific to Georgia.
