Join the Global Adventure with Yianna and Helios, with art, history and just of mystery!
I found a way to engage my students' curiosity of the world by combining art, history and just a bit of mystery. I created the story of two 3rd grade kids who travel the world and send our art room messages and artifacts from different places around the world.
This power point targets geography, history and art, creating a complete package for your students. Along with a series of geographical images, printables are available for your students' deeper investigation of Japan.
This art unit focuses on the symbolic representation of the Golden Fish found in the art of Japan. Images and notes, offer guidance for you to take your students on a global adventure without leaving the room. The art instructional sequence focuses on building visual literacy skills, printing techniques and exploring the students' interpretations of a "lucky fish".
