This is an example of the form I created to plan an integrated art project with classroom teachers.
To begin each project I meet with teachers to discuss potential themes and art media that they would like to explore. After we meet I prepare a planning sheet, like the one attached, that outlines what outcomes we will address during the project. It also includes the steps of the creative process that we will follow.
This particular sheet explains the print collage project I do with grade 3 or 4 students. It connects to an artist named Miriam Rudolf who used to live in our city (Winnipeg). Her work documents local landmarks and makes for a great Social Studies connection to community and mapping.
I ran a workshop for classroom teachers that walked them through this project and they were very excited about trying it in their classrooms. In fact, they encouraged me to put it up on TPT! I hope that you are inspired by what I make available.
Detailed lesson plans for this project are available if you are interested in attempting it in your art room or classroom. Just look for. "Print Collage Project"
