How can I use this product?
The whole group direction card are a great way to increase independence and support students with difficulties around executive functioning. By breaking down the tasks into single steps, students feel increasingly successful and you will have fewer students asking you, “What do I do?”
The large material cards can also be used to label materials in your classroom such as markers, glue, and scissors.
Individual Direction Boards: Do you have a student who makes it back to his or her seat without any of the materials they need? By providing them with a clear visual they can gather the materials either in order or pull off each material as they get it. The individual direction board can be used if a student has difficulty with completing a task. This lays out the directions for them at their seat. They can also remove each step as they complete it. The individual direction board is also perfect for any student who may need the visual directions rather than verbal directions.
