Difficulties with visual perceptual processing impact the ability to learn.
Use these discrimination task cards to work on eye tracking and visual perceptual skills to improve reading fluency and writing skills. Great eye warm up before reading groups. Use multiple times, see if students have the working memory to remember where the difference is located. Pair with Brian Gym lazy eights for an added benefit. Letter and number pairs are included. (p/b, b/d, 5/S, 1/l, O/0, j/I, d/a, Z/7, a/q, p/q, r/m, m/n, E,F, B/P)
Laminate and place in a binder for multiple use or copy as worksheet for small groups. You can also cut apart cards, laminate and place on a key ring to limit the visual information. Students can point or circle the differences. See if they are tracking left to right and top to bottom, help them learn this valuable skill.
Two styles included, one is for training left to right progression and has less visual information. Also included a blank template to make your own.
