The Visual Learning Depot offers Geometric Shapes and Forms in Architecture, the second in a series of Think With Your Eyes activities in which students read images, look for patterns, categorize ideas and apply their knowledge in different contexts; including creating a logic problem for others to solve. In this process, students read the visual text for evidence and use it to support their opinions. Following the teacher guidelines on page 1, photographs and images capture students' attention on pages 2 - 5 and lead them through activities that focus on 2 and 3-dimensional shapes. Each page increases in complexity. An envelope-template included on page 6 invites children to clip and collect the images. An answer key is provided.
