This product features a great item to provide choice to your students. If you normally use a note-taking strategy such as Cornell notes, try providing students a choice to complete visual notes. In visual notes, students take notes through visual cues, rather than through words. This product is a word document, therefore the title can be changed to whatever the visual notes should accompany. There are great visual note-taking tutorials on YouTube that will provide an opportunity for scaffolding to teach students visual note-taking techniques. At the end of the visual notes, students will complete a one paragraph summary to synthesize information, provide literary opportunity, and ensure students' visual notes make sense to the student at the end of whatever lesson you are doing.
