Visual prompts can be hung on a lanyard and worn around your neck to make life easier. If you have the visuals hanging around your neck, you have them at all times! Occasionally, we have students that pull on the lanyard, making it unsafe to wear. I suggest purchasing a lanyard with a velcro closure on the back, or cutting your lanyard and adding Velcro yourself. This way, if a child pulls on the lanyard, it breaks away in the back and you no longer have to worry about choking! (Who knew that was in our job description?!)
So, I suggest printing the visual cues on card stock and laminating them. Punch a hole in the top corner and slide the visuals on a metal ring on a lanyard. Ta-da!
