Product Description
This packet includes 3 step-by-step recipes with picture directions for
children with autism and early learners. All recipes are no bake (one requires a microwave).
*Hot chocolate
*No bake pumpkin pie
*Cookie decorating with frosting and sprinkles.

Also included are comprehension sheets about each recipe. The comprehension sheets are multiple choice and only require the correct responses to be circled (no writing required!).

Recipe following is important for students with autism as it can lead to other forms of direction following. Since food is often a motivating item for my students, I have found that simple cooking activities are a great place to start.

Cooking can be made into a great language activity, but have students request (verbally or with pictures) for all the ingredients/materials they need throughout the cooking activity.
