This product has been developed to be used with students with Autism or other Developmental Disabilities and can be used for a wide range of ages. Included in this product are visual reminder strips for entry and exit routines, for fall/spring and winter.
Students with Autism have difficulty with sequencing activities and processing auditory instructions. These reminder strips will allow these students to learn the sequences associated with entering the classroom in the morning and leaving at the end of the day. Through the use these strips, students will also become more independent during these times of day.
Option 1: Print the symbols on cardstock, cut apart . Adhere the symbols to a long strip of Bristol board and laminate. These routine strip can be presented vertically or horizontally.
Option 2: Print the symbols on cardstock, laminate and cut apart . Punch a hole in the corner of each symbol card and put on a binder ring.
