If you would like the Word Document so you can edit, please let me know!

In kindergarten, it is very helpful to have visual schedules available for students who have a difficult time transitioning from one activity to the next. In my classroom, I have copied and laminated these documents. I then cut them out and use adhesive Velcro to attach to the back. My students will then move the pieces around for their own personal schedule. I have different boards that my students use, some show the entire day, some are for morning/afternoon, and others only show 3 activities at a time.

Similarly, my students use the Velcro pieces to pick their coping strategy. I will pick 2 or 3 that they can then chose from. I will place the coping strategy within their visual schedule to see what the task is once they are calmed down.
