This is the tool you have been waiting for! I had many primary students that struggled with reading comprehension, mostly expressing all of the important elements of a story beyond just the beginning, middle, and end. This visual tool worked wonders!
Use the large poster to teach the components after you read a book. Copy the bookmarks as a resource for families to implement at home! I also used these bookmarks during guided reading for students to work on after they finished reading. ELL and Special Education students will benefit from this visual greatly.
This visual resource works with all curricula, all students, and quickly aids in students verbalizing what they read from a story! Enjoy!!
