Visual Vocabulary - Perfect Short Story Activity!

Google Drive™ folder

Description
Every year for Halloween, I read a scary short story to all of my classes. Because I teach 4 different grade levels, I am reading 4 different stories in that day, but I wanted an assignment that fit for all of them. So I made Visual Vocabulary!
Students take words from the story and create a work of art centered around understanding the word as well as increasing their comprehension of the story.
This resource can be used with any story, novel, or article and comes in 9 different pre-made styles (including a Halloween one!).
What's Included?
- 9 pre-made PDF assignment sheets
- 1 page editable Google Doc version
- 3 Google Doc lesson plans for in-person, online synchronous, and online asynchronous lessons
