This is a page that can be used to increase both Receptive and Expressive language. Use it as a visual support when pulling Christmas items out of a box and have the students find the item on the page and/or label the item. If you do not have the manipulative, have the student formulate sentences (i.e. "At Christmas, I see _________.") to increase utterances using Christmas vocabulary. In groups, students can also play "I spy" and describe a particular Christmas item while his/her peers try to guess the correct answer.
