This graphic organizer helps students who need extra support visualizing as they read. I have many students who struggle when asked to visualize during reading. They need help organizing their thoughts and putting together “a movie” in their mind. This assists students by helping them access the five senses when visualizing. Students draw the “movie in their mind” in the bubble and then describe what they visualized in the writing section. Some students prefer to draw first and some students prefer to write first. This graphic organizer is great for students who need extra support with reading comprehension and developing reading strategies.
