Product Description
Visualizing is the key to comprehension. I have created these graphic organizers to help students through the visualizing process. These are an extension to my noun, sentence and title reading response graphic organizers. These organizers are for students to visualize whole paragraphs. They are based on Lindamood Bell’s Visualizing and Verbalizing Program. They are meant to help the students through the visualizing process independently during independent reading, shared reading, guided reading, read alouds and homework using any text. You can use these graphic organizers for passages, read alouds, books, text books…anything!
The graphic organizers included are:
Three Sentence Paragraph Reading Responses: Students copy or write the three sentence paragraph in the space provided. The paragraph can come from a passage, book, textbook, any text. They use the structure words on the first sentence to develop the image. Then create an image of the second and third sentences to create the gestalt. Then students provide a picture summary followed by a written summary of the paragraph.

Four Sentence Paragraph Reading Responses: Students copy or write the four sentence paragraph in the space provided. The paragraph can come from a passage, book, textbook, any text They use the structure words on the first sentence to develop the image. Then create an image of the second, third and fourth sentences to create the gestalt. Then students provide a picture summary followed by a written summary of the paragraph.
