Viva La Egypt - An educational parody for study/review of Ancient Egypt

Viva La Egypt - An educational parody for study/review of Ancient Egypt
Product Description
I wrote this for 2nd graders who were studying Ancient Egypt. Viva La Vida, by Coldplay, was a popular song at the time and I was singing it one day and started changing the words to fit what we were learning. It correlates with 2nd grade Virginia SOL's, but would be a good beginning study for any primary aged student studying the basics of Ancient Egypt. I am not in any way profiting from this song and it is for educational use only.

"From papyrus they made paper,
with a water clock they knew an hour later,
with an obelisk, they told the time,
a giant sundial reached the sky,
hieroglyphics on the wall,
the invention of writing told it all,
preserved their dead...and more,
when the Egyptians ruled the world..."
