Do your kids need help with present and past tense verbs? This packet is a compilation of both to help with just that! I have included the following directions sheet in the packet to help!
How to use this in your classroom:
I have included various pages for practice.
-pg’s 4-9 are activity sheets with verbs already listed. Students have to read the verb, illustrate it, and write it in a sentence. These can be made double sided.
-pg’s 10-11 are the blank version of pages 4-9. This is so you can write in your own verb for them to complete.
-pg’s 12-15 are for past tense verb practice. They already have the verb listed and the student has to write the past tense version, illustrate it and write a sentence using the past tense version.
-pg’s 16-17 are the blank version of pages 12-15. This is so you can write your own verb for them.
-pg’s 18-21 are picture cards with the verb. This will help below level readers as well we ESL students. These cards can be cut out, laminated and used for the blank version of the recording pages. The student can use these cards to choose a verb to write.
-pg’s 22-23 are cut, sort, glue pages using present verbs and past verbs with –ed.
-pg’s 24-25 are cut, sort, glue pages for present verbs and past irregular verbs.
-pg 26 is a fill in the blank sentence activity for past (-ed) or present verbs.
-pg 27 is a fill in the blank sentence activity for past (irregular) or present verbs.
-pg 28-29 are quick activity pages for identifying verbs, graphing, listing, and sorting.
