Everything your students need to identify, define, practice, and apply new vocabulary terms found in the text! You will love the structured format, and the included vocabulary activities will work with any text! Printable and digital formats are included, giving you an option to utilize technology if applicable!


  • First, students will use the bookmark to record five new words encountered during the reading- any text works!

  • Next, students will define each new word and apply their knowledge of the term using one of the five different vocabulary worksheets. All of the vocabulary activities are also included on smaller printable cards for use as alternate option.

  • Last, students will demonstrate mastery of the new terms by completing a short assessment.

*This resource can be completed on paper or online with laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, or any device that supports Google Drive. The included Teacher's Guide includes access to the link that will allow you to make your own copy of the resources for use in Google Classroom/Google Drive.


Bookmarks: Students will use the bookmark to record five new words encountered during the reading. As long as there are new terms for students to locate and record, any text will work! Six bookmarks fit on one page.

Vocabulary Worksheets: Five different printable and digital vocabulary worksheets are included. Each worksheet requires students to define each new word and apply their newly acquired knowledge of the term by completing a vocabulary activity.

Task Cards: All of the vocabulary activities are also included on smaller printable cards for use as an alternate option.

Vocabulary Assessment: The assessment requires students to define each term in their own words and use each new word in an original sentence.
