Product Description

These 10 engaging vocabulary activities and games give your students meaningful practice with their vocabulary words. Each vocabulary activity is designed to be able to be used as a "set it and forget it" activity in a vocabulary station, though they may serve other purposes in your classroom. They are all low prep and involve minimal upkeep throughout the year, if any.

Vocabulary Games and Activities Included:

"Who Can Guess My Word?" - A vocabulary dice game - Students roll the dice to select a word and find a fun way to practice it. It’s simple, fun to play, and best of all, easy to set up. *You will need at least one die for this game.

"Super Vocabulary" Board Game - This game is perfect for spiraling all vocabulary words that have been learned throughout the year. Just keep adding new cards as new words are learned.

Vocabulary Spinner - Students can use this activity with a partner, group, or individually. Students spin to find new & fun ways to practice their vocabulary words.

Vocabulary Graphic Organizer - These graphic organizers are a great way to help your students solidify their understanding of the week’s vocabulary words. They also provide a great study reference! These can be kept together as one piece or cut apart and turned into flashcards.

Crossword Puzzle - The students create their own crossword puzzles. They then switch with a partner to complete or leave their paper in the vocabulary station for students from other groups to complete.

Vocabulary Writing - Your students will use at least three of their vocabulary words to write a short story or essay. This will allow your students’ creativity to shine while they deepen their understanding of their vocabulary words.

Vocabulary Menu - This menu allows students to practice their vocabulary words in a variety of ways and can be used in a station or as part of your weekly homework.

Create a Quiz! - Students will write a yes or no question for each vocabulary word to test a partner's understanding of them. They will then switch and complete each other's quizzes.

Fill-in-the-Blank - The students create their own fill-in-the-blank sentences for each word. They then switch with a partner to fill in the blanks or leave their paper in the vocabulary station for students from other groups to complete.

Vocabulary Word Art - Students write each of their vocabulary words in an artistic way that helps show their meaning.

For each activity and game, you will find:

• Teacher information complete with printing and assembly instructions

• A cover page for the station/activity with instructions or examples

• Student directions and/or an example

• Student recording sheet/activity page(s)
