Make learning vocabulary fun with this classic game that students love. It’s a great way to review vocabulary at the end of a unit, a quarter, or even the year.
All you need is a list of 25 vocabulary words for review. Students randomly fill in the squares on the provided bingo board with the words. As you call each word out, they mark it with an X on their board. (Better yet, use Smarties, Skittles or M&M’s as “chits” to keep them at the top of their game and play multiple rounds.) To make it more challenging as you go, provide them with the word and definition for the first round, then only the definition for the second.
