Product Description
This goal of this power point is to help students develop a language notebook through which they can expand on their vocabulary knowledge. The slide show begins by helping students understand "what" descriptive vocabulary looks like and why it's important. Following that, students are guided toward developing their own vocabulary notebook (could be paper-based or digital-based). After developing their vocabulary notebook, the lesson progresses by challenging the students to learn and utilize new descriptive vocabulary to replace the overused word, "said." This is a great activity which includes the language domains of reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
