A great way to review vocabulary words with students.
Included are two easy to make dice; one has free choice for rolling a 6 and one asks the students to create an antonym or synonym for the word. I found for some age groups/subjects that is too hard or not important for the word.
To use: For my classroom, I print the dice onto cardstock. After cutting them out, I either glue or tape them together. After doing this I use clear packaging tape to “laminate” them, making them sturdier.
The student then uses the dice to roll an action. The recording form is included.
I have used this as a whole group activity or for a center (depending on the subject or the words). We always review words prior to an assessment.
Great for Common Core Vocabulary Acquisition and Use Strands!
I also use it for every math, science and social studies unit I teach!
I have used this in a wide range of age groups (3rd grade up to 8th grade) and all age ranges have enjoyed reviewing vocabulary this way.
