--Choice and Describing mats
--EET visual (Expanding Expression Tool (EET) ((c) Sara Smith). You may want to introduce the EET first and describe/model each element of the EET.)
--Directions: SLP reads the clues to students so that they can guess which item is being described
--Students will have to listen to ALL the clues due to FOILS
--Read clues slowly, the last clue written usually gives the item away
--Please use your best judgment as to how many clues you should read to your student and in which order to read them
--Directions: Give the Choice and Describing mat to each student. --Give the EET visuals to the students that are working on describing items. Have the students take turns describing the items and guessing the items being described
*Could also use this with Students with Autism who forget to give enough information (have to give enough information so other students don’t get confused by the FOILS)
