Description

Here are four games that help beginner readers build their vocabulary of CVC words. The games are designed to explore over 85 words that are featured in the series, Games for Beginner Readers. However, the games, Find the Treasure! and Busy Bees, may be used to explore any list of vocabulary words. Know That Word! is a team game in which students name and spell objects/actions. Find the Treasure! is a board game that helps students develop a rich vocabulary by having them explore the meaning of words in a variety of ways. Hot Dog Bingo and Busy Bees help students use context to discover the meaning of words as well as examine words that have multiple meanings.
