Set of four vocabulary grids, each with a seasonal prompt: winter, spring, summer, and in lieu of "autumn" I used "thanks". Students fill in their vocabulary grid categories (like food or names) and the first letter must begin with one of the prompt words ("w" in winter, name "William"). I have included two words on each grid to get students started. I have used these with my second graders as a partner activity and with my adult ESL students as partner or individual work. It is a fun seasonal activity before vacation or in centers.
