This resource includes a ready-to-use interactive activity students can complete on any device. Easel by TpT is free to use! Learn more.

Print and Digital! Get maximum engagement with vocabulary words! These 16 activities (to use with any vocabulary list) are an effective way to increase understanding and retention of new words our students encounter! And it comes in 2 versions!

The first version is for an Interactive Notebook. Student directions with sample pictures are included (half-sheet size that can be laminated and placed on a ring in a word work center, or can be placed on the front of file folders containing the activity pages, or however suits your classroom!). Keeping vocab work together in an interesting Interactive Notebook also encourages our students to look back through and review the words. Students will each need a composition notebook for this.

The second version is worksheet pages with the same 16 activities, in case you prefer no cutting/gluing.

Please see the preview for a closer look!

Note that vocabulary lists are not included (these are meant to be used with your vocab lists, with words that students encounter on their own, and/or even your vocab words in the content areas).

Purchasing this resource will enable you to download the traditional PDF version to be printed as well as have access to a digital version to be used with Google Classroom™ or any LMS (through TpT's digital tool, Easel)! I have already prepared a student digital version of this resource for your convenience (deleted teacher pages, added instructions and text boxes for student answers, etc.). But you can also make your own changes (in terms of text boxes, instructions, etc., but note the content of the pages is not editable). For more information about how TpT's digital tool Easel works, please click here! Also check out the preview above for a glimpse of this digital version!
