This page can be used as page of a science notebook, ELA vocabulary building, social studies activity, any language enrichment activity.
Students write the word, draw the word, define, and then use it in a sentence. The worksheets can be printed back to back to save on paper. Use bright papers to encourage writing!
We use it as part of our ELA centers - in the independent area as a way to reinforce a topic we have worked on. As a way to encourage the writing, we have offered the use of play to "build" a 3-D model of the word after they have filled out the worksheet when appropriate.
