This vocabulary puzzle cube is a great way for students to practice both new and old vocabulary. You come up with the vocabulary lists and the students first translate the list, then fill in the cube puzzle. Within the cube puzzle the Spanish is written on the top lines and the Enlish equivalent is written below it. When the student is done filling in the squares, he or she cuts up the squares, mixes them up and tries to put the puzzle back together again. The only way they can do that is by finding the Enlish match to the Spanish vocabulary. Please note that the outer sides of the puzzle have no match but they are filled in to confuse the student so that the puzzle is not too easy. Students can also switch puzzles when done to get more practice. The puzzles can be stored in envelopes to take out and play again for a quick review at anytime for warm ups or for those students who are always finishing up activities before the rest of the class. I have provided 4 options of puzzle grids. There is one for 97 words,83 words, 71 words and 57 words. Each grid is labeled on the top to show how many vocabulary words it is meant for.
