Description
This vocabulary task card sampler is a set of eight half-page cards with activities addressing a variety of vocabulary skills. Both print and digital versions are included. The cards introduce essential language objectives that can each be found in more depth in this store's full-size sets of cards.

The printable version has two cards per page. A blank answer sheet for students to record their answers is included in the PDF, and there is also a list of suggestions for ways to use task cards and a list of suggestions for easy differentiation. The answer key can be found in the PDF as well.
The Easel version is ready for student use with one card per slide, and with directions and answer boxes already in place. The answer key has been removed from the Easel version.
These cards support ELA standards for language, reading, and writing, especially those that relate to word usage.
The task cards are designed specifically for middle school and upper elementary kids. The cards are large and have more content per card than many smaller task cards – perfect for older kids who can handle more than one quick question per card.
