When learning new vocabulary words, students can use this template to define the word, list grade-level synonyms & antonyms, create a sentence and also illustrate a picture to depict their sentence or what comes to mind when thinking about the word. This can be printed multiple times to create a "vocabulary booklet" or hole punched and put into a binder. Having the work on just one page makes it easy for students to go back to review and study their vocabulary words. The synonyms and antonyms grid is the most special part since those are the key words they will use to quickly remember the meanings of the vocabulary words.
For my SWDs and ELLs, this template makes it very easy for them to learn and study new academic vocabulary.
